TRAINING DISCIPLE MAKERS. - BIG LIFE workshop in Copenhagen

Who is invited? Anyone seeking to make disciples and/or start house churches. If you are in doubt about attending, send us a private message.

What is the price? It is free, but there are limited places.

What is it like? The workshop is held in Valby Copenhagen in a private house and there will be a total of 7 hours of teaching. There will be food served. Priority is given to people attending the full training.

Who is the trainer? Jens Ibsen, a Danish American who has a background in YWAM and CRU and has been involved in DMM work with 1 Body Church (www.1body.church) - in Tampa, FL, USA and in multiple countries in Asia in the last 8 years. Jens lives in Thailand together with his wife Joanne. He is part of Biglife (www.big.life) - and sits on the Global Strategy Team for the 24:14

What is the purpose of the Training? "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19)

We are all called by Jesus to make disciples. This training enables disciples to fulfill their calling and start making disciples in a simple, biblical and reproducible way. The following is a presentation of the workshop, which will be in English.

We have all read Acts and these movements are similar to what happened in the early church. These movements are emerging and spreading across the world today like never before. God is using ordinary people who in community with others are learning to love God, love others and make disciples in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Every disciple learns to form new habits as they begin to obey God’s commands, train others to do the same, and share their story and God’s story with people who don’t know Jesus. They start by looking for spiritually hungry people who are open and will share with others while they disciple them to become a Group that turn into Simple Churches that begin to multiply. They teach them to do the same with others until it becomes a regional network that can reach an entire city, region, or nation.

Some of the topics that will be covered in this training:

• How to share the Good News in a way that is easy to understand and that is easy to use to train others.

• How to become disciple makers in the power of the Holy Spirit.

• Spiritual preparation that’s needed to become a true disciplemaker.

• How to go prayer walking and find “persons of peace” in the community.

• How to learn to listen to God, obey him and put His Word into practice.

• How to start multiplying Groups that turn into a growing network of Simple Churches

• How to start a Disciple Multiplication Movements (DMM) through prayer and the use of simple principles for multiplying disciples.

• How to start a DMM that can spread to your entire city, region, or nation in our generation.
